DO
- The juice of one lemon daily can be used for any purpose.
- Spices add flavor! Use spices that contain no sugar, and be careful of ingredients ending in –ose, as well as mixed.
- spices that contain sugar and other derivatives of sugar.
- Use as desired: salt, pepper, vinegar, mustard powder, garlic, sweet basil, parsley, thyme, marjoram, etc.
- Use oil free sun block.
- Keep HCG out of direct sunlight.
Don’t
- Don’t use body oils. It may stall weight loss. Instead, use oil free skin products and make up.
- Don’t get a message during the HCG weight loss program. It can cause heavy skin bruising.
- Don’t go tanning.
- Don’t eat or drink, smoke or chew gum (or tobacco), use toothpaste or lip-gloss just before or after taking the HCG sublingual drops.
- Don’t eat mint in any form.
Limit:
- Limit caffeine and nicotine intake.
- Limit breathing of strong odors such as gasoline or eucalyptus or menthol.
- Limit use of raw garlic, onions and strong spices to an hour after your HCG.
Tips & Secrets
If your life is like ours, your life is very busy, especially between work, the kids, errands, and all of those pesky house chores! Before you start the weight loss program, there are three must-haves that will make your life so much easier. Invest in a digital weight scale to weigh yourself accurately every morning and purchase a small food scale to weigh 100 grams, or 3.5oz, of meat accurately. We also recommend a George Foreman Grill for easy meat and vegetable preparation. Usually, the meat servings only take about 3 minutes to grill to perfection.
Time Savers!
- Purchase thawed servings of meat, divide them into 100-gram servings, and freeze individual servings.
- You can also try cooking the meat and then freezing it. When you’re ready to eat it, just take it out of the freezer, and reheat it.
- One client told us that each night she picks out her two servings of protein for the next day and allows them to thaw. She says this saves a lot of time and preparation on the George Foreman grill on takes a minute.
- You can find Grissino breadsticks at Schnucks in the deli / cheese area.
- Look for Melba toast at Wal-Mart, Shop N Save, and other stores. Look near the cracker section.
Has your weight been stuck at the same number for a day or two?
- Are you drinking enough water? For best results, drink 2 – 3 quarts per day?
- Sip on green tea throughout the day.
- Are you eating a lot of apples? Try changing things up, and enjoy an orange, half of a grapefruit, or a handful of strawberries.
- Limit intake or stop eating American beef; it can be very fatty!
- Tip: Some garlic salts have sugar as an ingredient. Check the ingredients of all of the spices you are using.
- Make sure you’re not mixing vegetables. Just eat 2 cups of one type vegetable at each meal.
- Constipated? Find Smooth Move tea in the grocery store or special health food stores.
Still not working?
If you haven’t lost any weight for more than three days. Try an Apple-a-Day:
The next morning, don’t eat anything till noon but drink lots of liquid – coffee, tea, and water. From noon till noon the next day, eat 6 apples over the course of the twelve hours. After noon on the second day, you can 1 protein, 1 vegetable, 1 fruit, and 1 breadstick that afternoon. You should see weight loss by the next morning, and from there, continue your normal regime.
